National Energy Foundation
Rickaby Thompson Associates’ Director Peter Rickaby has accepted an invitation to join the Board of Trustees of the National Energy Foundation (NEF). The NEF is an independent charity based in Milton Keynes, and has been at the forefront of improving the use of energy in buildings since 1988. The Foundation aims to give people, organisations and Government the knowledge, support and inspiration they need to understand and improve the use of energy in buildings. The NEF is also home to the Sustainable Energy Academy, which runs the SuperHomes network of homes that have been retrofitted to low carbon standards, and to the Energy Efficiency Partnership for Buildings (EEPB). Peter’s appointment to the NEF’s Board of Trustees reflects Rickaby Thompson Associates’ longstanding relationships with both the NEF and the EEPB, as well as his position at the Centre of Refurbishment Excellence (CoRE), which will be working closely with the National Energy Foundation to promote retrofit of the UK building stock.
