Adam Tilford holds a degree
in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia and is
currently completing a masters degree with University College Dublin
where he is studying the performance of dwellings built to the
PassivHaus standard in maritime climate.
He is an accredited On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA)
through the National Home Energy Rating (NHER) scheme, an EcoHomes and
Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor and a BREEAM (Industrial) Assessor.
Prior to joining Rickaby Thompson Associates he worked for Milton
Keynes Energy Agency, promoting energy efficiency to the public and
providing advice on the best way to improve the efficiency of
individual homes.
He is an active domestic air-tightness tester, and experienced in the
monitoring and evaluation of building performance. He has also trained
housing officers in domestic energy efficiency and dealing with fuel
poverty.
