Scott
Dwyer read Environmental Studies at Glasgow Caledonian University and
holds a Masters Degree in Energy Systems and the Environment from the
University of Strathclyde and a doctorate in Energy Studies from the
University of Ulster. His doctoral research was A method for evaluating energy-related low-carbon improvement options for urban high density social housing.
He joined Rickaby Thompson Associates in 2004 as an INREB Faraday
Associate, and is an accredited On Construction Domestic Energy
Assessor (OCDEA) through the National Home Energy Rating (NHER) scheme
and a certified DEAP Assessor in Ireland. He is also an experienced
housing stock assessor, with a particular interest in whole-life
costing of low-carbon options for existing buildings.
