Catherine Arotsky is a
Chartered Engineer through the Energy Institute, and has over ten years
experience in energy and environmental consultancy in relation to
buildings, working at FaberMaunsell Ltd (previously ECD Energy and
Environment) and National Energy Services before joining Rickaby
Thompson Associates.
She has worked extensively with housing associations and local
authorities, undertaking specification reviews, energy efficiency and
sustainability advice and monitoring of innovative technologies.
Catherine is an accredited On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor
(OCDEA) through the National Home Energy Rating (NHER) scheme, an
EcoHomes and Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor,
a BREEAM Assessor, a CEEQUAL Verifier, and a CIBSE Low Carbon Energy
Consultant. She is one of the first BREEAM Accredited Professionals.
She also has experience in evaluating new and renewable energy
technologies such as CHP, wind-power, solar water heating and fuel
cells.
