Assistant Energy Consultant
To assist our small team
with the delivery of energy rating assessments for Building Regulations
Part L
compliance, Code for Sustainable Homes compliance and EPCs (using SAP,
NHER and
SBEM), housing stock energy studies, technical assessments (using Therm
and
WUFI), energy performance monitoring (including pressure testing),
BREEAM and
Code for Sustainable Homes assessments, building performance simulation
modelling (using DesignBuilder), energy benchmarking of buildings, and
low
carbon design and refurbishment consultancy.
This post would suit a recent
graduate. Candidates should have a good degree (at
least 2.1) in a buildings-related discipline (architecture, surveying
or
building services engineering). Experience
of energy assessment using SAP and/or SBEM, or of environmental
assessment
using the BREEAM methodology, would be an advantage, but training will
be
provided as required.
Principal
Energy Consultant
To
take a leading role in the development and delivery of our wide range
of
professional and technical services, with a view to further promotion
within
the company in due course. Candidates
should have a higher degree and/or a professional qualification in a
building
related discipline, at least ten years experience of commercial energy
or
environmental consultancy, and the ability to promote the company’s
services,
secure commissions and lead the delivery of work. This is a
challenging position for a highly
motivated, ambitious professional who wishes to bring his or her own
experience
and ideas to our small, flexible team.
